Peregian Beach Markets | This Sunday!

Hopefully the sun will shine it's little heart out this Sunday after a deluge of rains,as we set up shop at the Peregian Beach Markets once again.

I've been busy creating new sea junk,including cushions + gents & ladies clothes + framed prints + many more fresh new items!

Come frolic in the sunshine by the sea & visit our little shanty pop-up shop.

Perpetual One

Lovely lady,Georgina from PERPETUAL ONE approached me with a task to help turn her new logo ideas into reality.

She wanted something simple.fresh.authentic & that reflected the spirit of her quality collected [antique] wares + assembled pieces.

The final result is this flag design which we're both really happy with.This is probably the first logo I've completed entirely on my Mac,no hand-drawing or even a smidge of pen which was a really nice change + I also managed to teach myself some new photoshop skills along the way.

cloth labels

Heavy branding is something I don't find cool,huge brand names emblazoned across arses & boobs. I do like original art screenprinted onto clothing though,that's fun,which is what I like to do with the screenprinted items I make.This is why I have cloth labels so my clothing junk still can be identified,but not shoved in your face.


I decided to get some new cloth labels made,a new design + different dimensions. My labels arrived on Friday much to my excitement & I'm super happy with the outcome,they're a bit special!

I made up a new little poster for millie,thinking of turning this into some postcards to put with online orders + to place at zee pop-up shop.

That's all I need to say about Sunday.


So bloody hot.We were sweating in the shade,man!
Thankyou to those who wandered out into the sweltering heat to purchase some handmade goodness,you guys are the coolest.


We stripped off our clothes + dived into the sea afterwards + sipped on fresh smoothies & juices,so amazingly delicious.

The Village Markets | design

As you may know,the past month I've been crazily busy getting back into creating once again for 2012.In between designing + sewing up the fresh new Autumn/Winter range.working on a few custom clothing orders.starting new design projects for different lovely clients,I've managed to finish one project for The Village Markets.

I love The Village Markets,it's a bit dear to my heart as I've been attending the markets since the beginning,first with my previous clothing label & now with Millie.Along the way I've constantly been proud of the work & progress that Sarah & Marissa have achieved with their gorgeous market space & the support + platform they've provided for young designers & artisans.So when they asked me if I would be interested in designing their new promotional merchandise for 2012 I was totally honoured & excited to partake!

After a few late nights sketching away,I was happy with this illustration for their new merchandise.A bit of a clean up + a few tweaks on zee Mac & I emailed off the new design to Marissa + Sarah who are now loving their fresh,new TVM merch design.

Love + creative happiness all 'round!

fresh studio

The past few days I've been busy painting my little studio white from floor to ceiling + side to side. It was previously grey & kinda depressing,but NOW it's crisp + white! like a blank canvas. EXCITING!
I'm organizing + rearranging my space so it's more welcoming & less of a chaotic mess.
My lovely boyfriend is putting up some much needed shelving for me next week.So far it's coming together most excellently!

Peregian Beach Markets | Sunday 19th February

We melted beside the sea on Sunday as the humidity was high + the sun was beaming down,but thankfully throwing ourselves into the delicious sea after the markets quenched our dehydrated selves!


A huge thankyou to those who wandered down to zee markets + supported our little shanty stall.We met some beautiful new faces & had some interesting yarns with customers,overall a really great day!

MARKETS!!!

This coming Sunday the 19th of February we'll be back by the seaside selling our handmade wares at the Peregian Beach Markets on zee Sunshine Coast.

There will be a few SALE items,so drop by to grab yourself a bargain or just pop by for a peruse.

We'll be there from 8am til 1pm,so hopefully see you there!
